Israeli occupation continues its aggression against Jenin city

WEST BANK, Feb. 27 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continued on Thursday its aggression on Jenin city and its camp in the northern West Bank for the 38th day, leaving 27 dead, dozens wounded, and extensive destruction of infrastructure and property.

Jenin Governor Kamal Abu al-Rub confirmed that the aggression is causing daily losses of 20 million shekels, with the continued closure of the Jalameh checkpoint, which prevents thousands of students from reaching the university and workers from reaching their workplaces.

Abu al-Rub pointed out the occupation’s attempts to change the features of the camp by digging the ground three meters deep to build towers, creating and expanding streets, and demolishing entire neighborhoods. It is also forcing residents to flee in preparation for its long-term control over the camp.

Today, the occupation forces measured the house of the martyr Islam Khamisa in preparation for its demolition.
