Health ministry condemns coalition air strikes on water projects

SANAA, July 23 (YPA) – Ministry of Public Health and Population on Monday condemned the systematic targeting to water sources in Yemen by the coalition fighter jets, in a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency.

In a statement, the ministry called on the United Nations and international community to stop the coalition air strikes against infrastructure of the Yemeni people.

The statement denounced destroying a water project in Nashor area at Saher district of Saada province by the coalition and cutting off the pure, healthy water to more than 15,000 people.

The statement said that the coalition targeted more than 1090 water projects to create the environmental conditions to spread the epidemic and infectious diseases in Yemen.
