Achievement of Mareb gaz station 2 to generate electricity discussed

SANAA, July 23 (YPA) – Ministers of Electricity and Energy Lout Al-Jourmuzi met on Monday  in the capital Sanaa  minister of Legal Affairs Abdul Rahman Al-Mukhtar to discuss matters facing the achievements of project of establishing the gaz station of Mareb 2 to generate electricity.

The meeting dealt with subjects concerning activating the unit of projects concerning generating electricity under the supervision of the general corporation of electricity.

The meeting stressed on the necessity of coordination with the financiers by the ministry of planing and International cooperation to achieve the project, which the percent of accomplishment of its works reached to 90% with cost estimated to $ 450 millions.

Electricity minister stressed on the importance of setting up a temporal mechanism to achieve this vital project , which stopped due to actual conditions.
