Israeli occupation forces begin withdrawal from Gaza’s Netzarim axis

GAZA, Feb. 09 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army has begun a full withdrawal from the Netzarim axis in the central Gaza Strip, leaving behind massive destruction, media outlets reported, citing Hebrew sources

According to the Israeli army’s radio, the military has started withdrawing from the Netzarim axis in Gaza, and the withdrawal is expected to be completed within the day.

Israeli media released a video showing an Israeli army officer issuing orders to his soldiers for a final withdrawal from the Netzarim axis, which separates the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army’s withdrawal from the Netzarim axis coincides with the 22nd day of the ceasefire, in accordance with the truce agreement between Israel and Hamas.

The Israeli occupation forces had carried out their first partial withdrawal from the Netzarim axis on the seventh day of the agreement, which came into effect on January 19.
