Protests in Lahj cut off road linking Taiz and Aden

LAHJ, Feb. 08 (YPA) – Dozens of demonstrators cut off, on Saturday, the road linking Taiz and Aden in Lahj Governorate, in protest against the deterioration of living and service conditions.

Local sources reported that the demonstrators blocked the road with stones and burning tires, amid slogans calling for the departure of the coalition and its affiliated government.

The participants in the demonstration demanded the provision of electricity, improvement of economic conditions, and payment of delayed salaries of employees.
