Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression on Jenin for 11th consecutive day

JENIN, Jan. 31 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation continued on Friday to escalate its aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp for the eleventh consecutive day, causing great destruction to public and private property and infrastructure.

So far, the Israeli aggression has left 19 martyrs, including a child, and injured at least 50 people, in addition to carrying out a large-scale arrest campaign. The occupation also demolished about 100 homes and burned others, especially in the alleys of Jenin camp.

The demolition, burning, and bulldozing of homes and citizens’ properties continue in the middle of the camp’s neighborhoods, in parallel with military reinforcements that the occupation is sending to the area, accompanied by bulldozers to increase pressure and escalation.

On Thursday night, the two young men, Yazan al-Hassan from Jenin camp and Amir Abu Hassan from al-Yamoun, west of Jenin, were killed by the occupation forces in Jenin camp, and their bodies were detained.

The Red Crescent Society reported that its crews transferred three women in their fifties who were injured by shrapnel from a rocket attack inside the camp to the hospital, and they were received at the Jalameh checkpoint.

Two other young men were also injured by the occupation forces, and an ambulance was hit while transporting an injured person, while the press crews were prevented from covering the incident inside the camp.
