Al-Hayya: Gaza has presented a unique model of steadfastness and foiled plans to displace its people

CAIRO, Jan. 29 (YPA) – Khalil al-Hayya, a member of the political bureau of Hamas and the head of the Movement in the Gaza Strip, affirmed that the Palestinian people have presented a unique model of patience and steadfastness… pointing out that the battle is not over yet, and they will continue on the path with their people until the liberation of the land and holy sites.

According The Palestinian Information Center, Al-Hayya’s remarks  came during a ceremony honoring freed prisoners in Cairo, where he stated that the next phase requires Palestinian unity and the continuation of resistance until complete victory is achieved.

In his speech, he praised the sacrifices of the Palestinian people in Gaza, saying, “O freed prisoners, you have the right to be proud of your people, who have brought you out as free heroes.”

Al-Hayya stressed that the determination of the Palestinian people remains unshaken in their struggle against occupation, and they will persist until the core of Palestine is entirely free.

He explained that the Palestinians are waging a single battle today, fighting the criminal enemy with one hand and breaking the chains of imprisonment from their heroes with the other.

He affirmed that the Palestinian resistance has fulfilled its promise, adding, “Brother Abu Ibrahim (Yahya Sinwar) has fulfilled his oath and promise to you, as have all the leaders of our national movement.”

He noted that the occupying entity has failed to impose its equations, such as the forced displacement of the people of Gaza, and affirmed that the Palestinian people will return to their land, cities, and villages, just as they have returned to the northern Gaza Strip.

Al-Hayya praised the positions supporting the rights of the Palestinian people, expressing his pride in the stance of Egypt and Jordan, which reject displacement plans.

He expressed confidence in the ability of Arab nations, led by Egypt, to thwart these malicious schemes.

The head of Hamas in Gaza commended the efforts of the resistance across its various factions, both in Gaza and the West Bank, in confronting the Zionist aggression and “turning the tide of the real conflict.”

He affirmed that the resistance will continue striving to free the prisoners.

He clarified that the Palestinian negotiator draws his strength from his people and their resistance, adding, “When a negotiator is backed by a people willing to sacrifice their blood for him and a brave, formidable resistance, he feels pride and honor in every moment.
