SANAA, Jan. 29 (YPA) – A Turkish army officer was killed and two others were injured, on Wednesday, in a missile attack carried out by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), targeting a Turkish military base in northeastern Syria.
The Syrian Observatory reported that the Syrian Democratic Forces bombed the Turkish army base in Bab al-Faraj, within the Peace Spring area northwest of Hasakah, which resulted in the death of a Turkish officer, the destruction of a radar system he was operating, and the serious injury of two other officers who were taken to Turkish territory to receive treatment.
This comes in response to the ongoing Turkish bombing of civilian homes in Abu Rasin, which led to the destruction of their homes, according to the Syrian Observatory.
