Hamas publishes important points regarding return of displaced to northern Gaza

GAZA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – The official website of Hamas published important details regarding the mechanism for the return of displaced persons to northern Gaza under the ceasefire agreement.

Hamas explained in a statement, on Thursday, that it is scheduled on the seventh day of the agreement (January 25, 2025), after the prisoner exchange process ends that day, and the occupation completes its withdrawal from the Rashid Street axis (the sea).

She pointed out that internally displaced pedestrians will be allowed to return north without carrying weapons and without inspection via Rashid Street, with freedom of movement between the south and north of the Gaza Strip, while vehicles of all types will be allowed to return north of the Netzarim axis after the vehicles are inspected.

Hamas added that on the twenty-second day of the agreement, internally displaced pedestrians will be allowed to return north from Salah al-Din Street without inspection.
