Residents of village in Tartous clash with HTS factions

DAMASCUS, Dec. 26 (YPA) – Violent clashes erupted on Thursday between the residents of Khirbet al-Ma’za village in Tartous governorate and a security force affiliated with the “Military Operations Administration,” one of the factions of “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” (HTS).

The clashes erupted against the backdrop of the HTS’ storming the village with the aim of arresting members of the former Syrian army.

According to Syrian media sources, the clashes resulted in the killing of two and wounding of four others from HTS, and the number of dead and wounded among the residents is not yet known.
