Hundreds of settlers desecrate Aqsa Mosque

SANAA, July 22 (YPA) – Hundreds of the Israeli occupation settlers on Sunday desecrated the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards under tight police guard in memory of the so-called “destruction of the Temple.

According to the news agencies, hundreds of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in the form of successive groups through Bab al-Mughrabi and toured its fields, and many of them prayed in the squares while the Israeli police drove some extremists from the mosque.

The numbers of the Israeli settlers reached to 479 extremists at 9:00 am, and the number is increasable.

The Israeli occupation forces were deployed heavily at the gates of the Al-Aqsa mosque and they installed iron barricades on the doors.

There are several the extremists headed by MK Yehudah Glick accompanied by hundreds of settlers.

In recent days, the temple groups have stepped up calls to break into the Al-Aqsa Mosque to commemorate the destruction of the temple.

In the same context, the occupation forces launched a campaign of arrests in the neighborhoods of Jerusalem.
