Palestinian factions reveal positive outcomes of Cairo talks

CAIRO, Dec. 21 (YPA) – A consultative meeting was on Friday in the Egyptian capital Cairo among delegations of leaders of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, the Islamic Jihad Movement, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

During the meeting, the Palestinian resistance factions discussed the course of the ongoing Israeli occupation’s aggression on Gaza and the developments of the indirect negotiations for a ceasefire and the prisoner exchange deal, in addition to all the changes at the regional level.

The Palestinian factions were keen to stop the Israeli aggression in light of international collusion that they described as “shameful.”

The attendees discussed also the suffering of the Palestinian people and the crimes that the Israeli occupation’s committing in Gaza and West Bank, in an attempt to undermine the steadfastness and resilience of this people in the face of displacement plans and the crime of genocide.

According to informed sources, the factions agreed to continue communicating to consult and coordinate on all developments related to the aggression and ceasefire negotiations, as well as to put the final touches on forming a community support committee to manage the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian factions highly appreciated the performance of the Palestinian resistance, its qualitative operations, and the great scenes of the heroic fighters, who inflict daily material and human losses on the ranks of the Israeli occupation.
