Former Syrian army officer found dead in Baniyas

DAMASCUS, Dec. 13 (YPA) – Armed factions in Syria found the body of a former Syrian army officer dead in mysterious circumstances inside his home on the coastal Syrian city of Baniyas,

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights claimed that a man from Harison village in Baniyas who was accused of belonging to the Shabiha committed suicide by shooting himself, after he received death threats on Facebook from some members of the armed groups in Syria, which prompted him to commit suicide out of fear of falling into their hands.
