GAZA, Dec. 12 (YPA) – An Israeli occupation air strike targeted a group of Palestinians securing aid trucks in Rafah early Thursday, killing at least 15 people, according to paramedics in the Gaza Strip.
The paramedics said at least 30 people were injured, many of them are in critical condition, and the death toll was expected to rise.
They affirmed the raid took place in the western part of Rafah city in the southern Strip.
The strikes against aid trucks being hijacked by armed gangs shortly after entering the Strip have been repeated, prompting Hamas movement to form a task force to confront them.
According to Hamas sources and medics, Hamas-led forces have targeted more than twenty gang members in recent months.
Hamas added that Israeli strikes have killed at least 700 personnel tasked with securing aid trucks entering Gaza since the aggression began on October 7, 2023.
