Hamas leader affirms resistance in West Bank continues

GAZA, Dec. 05 (YPA) – Hamas leader Mahmoud Mardawi affirmed on Thursday that the Israeli occupation’s targeting of resistance fighters and their assassination in the occupied West Bank would not weaken the resistance.

Mardawi declared in a new statement that the West Bank had a strategic reservoir of resistance fighters and revolutionaries, “and the assassinations would increase its determination to resist and make the occupation pay the price for its crimes against the Palestinian people.

He explained that the continued targeting of the Palestinian people and its resistance is a continuation of the genocidal war that the extremist occupation government has been committing in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

“The occupation seeks, by directing strikes at the resistance and its leaders, to impose plans for annexation and public Judaization in the West Bank,” Mardawi added. “All these plans would fail in the face of the insistence of our people, its resistance, and adherence to the rights of our people and its sanctities.”

He stressed that the crimes of the occupation and its plans against the people of Palestine in all places require everyone to stand united to confront these crimes and thwart the plans of the occupation.
