Israeli occupation forces commit 35 violations of ceasefire in Lebanon within two days

BEIRUT, Nov. 30 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces committed 17 violations of the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah, bringing the total number of violations committed since the ceasefire took effect at dawn last Wednesday to 35.

According to the Lebanese News Agency, the violations were concentrated in the Marjayoun and Bint Jbeil districts in the Nabatieh Governorate (south) and the Tire district in the South Governorate and varied between shelling by artillery, tanks, military aircraft, and drones; machine gun fire; incursions; leveling of lands and houses; uprooting olive trees; drone and reconnaissance flights; and launching flares.

In the Marjayoun district, an Israeli Merkava tank bombed a house in the town of Burj al-Muluk while its owner was returning to inspect it, “but he miraculously survived,” according to the report.

The report explained that in the town of Kafr Kila, Israeli army bulldozers bulldozed agricultural land and uprooted olive trees in the Al-Abbara area. Four Israeli tanks also penetrated the western neighborhood of the town of Khiam, while an Israeli artillery shell fell there.

Also in Khiam, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on citizens while they were holding a funeral for a person, while a group affiliated with him fired a missile at the town plain.

The towns of Hula, Al-Adisa, Al-Tayyibah, Markaba, and Talusah were also subjected to artillery shelling, and Israeli forces advanced in the town of Markaba, bulldozing homes and lands heading to the town of Bani Hayyan.
