Australian police confiscate oars from Pro-Palestinian protesters blockading coal ships to Israel

WORLD, Nov. 24 (YPA) – Australian police confiscated the oars of pro-Palestinian protesters who organized a blockade of ships carrying Australian coal to the Israeli occupation at the Port of Newcastle, the largest coal port in the world.

The Rising Tide had called for the blockade of ships carrying Australian coal to the occupation, starting from November 22 to 24, following the arrival of a shipment of Australian coal at the Haifa port.

The ship had departed from Newcastle in Australia, and it is expected to supply the largest power station in the Israeli entity.
