OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Nov. 22 (YPA) -The Israeli occupation army announced on Thursday morning the death of one soldier from the “Golani” Brigade during the ground offensive and escalation in southern Lebanon.
In a statement, the occupation army identified the slain soldier as Sgt. Gur Kehati, 20, who was serving in the army’s 13th Battalion of its elite Golani Brigade.
Hebrew media reported that the soldier was killed in an exchange of fire with Hezbollah fighters at the same location where an archaeologist was killed the day before.
The occupation army also said that Colonel Yoav Yarom was injured in the same incident that Erlich was killed by Hezbollah resistance fighters’ gunfire.
According to official Israeli data, the number of Israeli military and settler casualties since the beginning of November has risen to 34, including 18 killed by Hezbollah’s fire and rockets.
