Sheikh Naeem Qassim: “Hezbollah has regained its health and will emerge stronger from the ongoing battle”
BEIRUT, Nov. 20 (YPA) – Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem said on Wednesday that “Hezbollah has regained its health and will emerge stronger from the ongoing conflict.”
Sheikh Qassim said in a televised speech, “We had previously agreed to the Biden-Macron proposal on the basis that the war could be ended, but they assassinated the Secretary-General.”
Qassem stressed the importance of a response in Tel Aviv when Beirut is under Israeli attacks. He also highlighted two battles in Lebanon, supporting Gaza for 11 months and repelling Israeli aggression on Lebanon.
He expressed gratitude for being among the few who support Gaza alongside Iraq, Yemen, and Iran.
Qassem emphasized that “the field has the final say in negotiations, and the Israelis want humiliation for us.” He added, “It is impossible for us to be humiliated.”
Hezbollah Secretary-General stated that they are negotiating to stop the aggression and preserve Lebanese sovereignty, ensuring the enemy cannot enter and strike whenever it wants, affirming “Hezbollah will remain in the field, fight, and increase the cost for the enemy.”
