UN official: Genocide practiced by “Israel” in Gaza confirmed end of world order

NEW YORK, Oct. 21 (YPA) – The UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese, said that “Israel” is committing a horrific genocide in Gaza and slaughtering Palestinians daily with absolute support from Western countries.

“Genocide is a major crime that should shock us,” Albanese said in an interview with Al-Jazeera TV. “Over the past months, I have repeated in hundreds of interviews that the genocide being practiced by Israel is horrific and terrible, and I do not understand how it continues until now.”

“What will it take to stop this hell?” the UN official asked, before confirming that what is happening in Gaza has affirmed the end of the world order that was built after World War II.

With American support, Israel has been waging a genocidal war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 142,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and an unprecedented humanitarian disaster.

Israel continues this war, ignoring the UN Security Council resolution to end it immediately and the International Court of Justice’s orders to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
