Death toll from Israeli aggression on Gaza rises to 42,603
GAZA, Oct. 20 (YPA) – The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip issued on Sunday the daily statistical report “on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip for the 380th day.”
The ministry said in a statement, “The Israeli occupation committed seven massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, as a result of which 84 martyrs and 158 injured people arrived in hospitals during the past 24 hours.”
“The occupation committed a massacre against citizens in the Beit Lahia project in the North Gaza Governorate from last night until dawn today, leaving 87 martyrs and missing people under the rubble and more than 40 injured, including very critical cases,” the ministry explained.
The ministry noted that “there are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.”
The Ministry confirmed that “the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 42,603, in addition to 99,795 wounded since October 7, 2023.”
