German police use dogs to disperse pro-Palestine demonstrators

BERLIN, Oct.20 (YPA) – German police used dogs to disperse demonstrators who came out in the capital, Berlin, to denounce the ongoing Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip for more than a year.

Demonstrators gathered in a street in the capital, Berlin, to express their denunciation of the genocide committed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza for more than a year and to denounce its aggression against Lebanon.

The demonstrators marched, chanting slogans such as “Freedom for Palestine.”

From time to time, the march witnessed confrontations between demonstrators and police forces.

Under the pretext of “non-compliance with the laws” during the protest and that “the demonstration harms public security,” the police demanded that the demonstrators break up their protest.

Although many demonstrators left the area, police used dogs to disperse a number of demonstrators who refused to end their protest. The police also arrested many demonstrators, took strict security measures, and used violence against the protesters.
