Report: Washington secretly sent commando soldiers to “Israel”

NEW YORK, Oct. 19 (YPA) – “The New York Times” newspaper has reported, citing US officials, that the Pentagon secretly sent commandos to Israel to advise on efforts to recover the hostages.

The US newspaper pointed out that US intelligence officers later joined the commandos in Israel, noting that six MQ-9 drones carried out missions to help locate the hostages.

US President Joe Biden had previously said that the Israeli occupation army had relentlessly pursued Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar with the help of US intelligence.

The New York Times reported earlier that the Israeli occupation was able to monitor Sinwar’s calls from inside the tunnels with the help of US eavesdropping devices, but it did not succeed in locating him.

Immediately after the October 7 attacks, the US Central Intelligence Agency established a task force, while the Pentagon sent special operations forces to Israel to advise the Israeli Defense Forces on the war on Gaza.

The United States provided the Israeli occupation with a radar whose waves penetrate the ground to help track prisoners and Hamas leaders. This radar was used to help map hundreds of miles of tunnels under Gaza.

It is worth noting that the number of Israeli prisoners remaining in Gaza is 101, according to Israeli media, and there is no information about how many of them are still alive.
