Kremlin comments on Harris’s insulting remarks about Putin

WORLD, Oct. 13 (YPA) – The Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov confirmed that US Vice President Kamala Harris’s insulting remarks about Russian President Vladimir Putin reflect the essence of the American model in international relations.

In a conversation with journalist Pavel Zarubin, the Kremlin representative noted that ” Apparently, the top US political establishment has absorbed this kind of political culture.”

“This, it seems, is the quintessence of the very model of international relations, which they seek to impose on the entire world, the kind of model that the global majority likes less and less.”

“This is the essence of what is going on,” Peskov added.

In response to a journalist’s question about whether a US leader could start interacting with the Russian Federation using insults in the future, Peskov said, “It turns out that this is possible.”

Harris, following the example of President Joe Biden, made disparaging comments about Russian President Vladimir Putin. In discussing journalist Bob Woodward’s allegations about Putin’s communications with former U.S. President Donald Trump—claims that Moscow has not confirmed—Harris referred to him as a “killer dictator.” She applied the same characterization to her Republican opponent and also to the leaders of China and North Korea.
