MARIB, Oct. 12 (YPA) – Yemen’s political parties loyal to the Saudi-led coalition suspended their activities in the city of Marib, which is under the control of the Islah Party factions, on Friday.
The parties, including “Socialist, Nasserite, Baath, confirmed in a statement, that the attempt to stifle the political experiment is inconsistent with joint work.
This comes in response to the Islah Party’s violations in issuing a statement condemning the US sanctions imposed on the party’s leader “Hamid Al-Ahmar”, without the parties knowing about that statement.
The Islah’s statement received angry reactions from activists of those parties, due to its exclusivity in demanding that the coalition-backed Aden government to take action to defend Al-Ahmar.
