Yemeni forces strike US oil tanker in Red Sea, another vessel in Indian Ocean

SANAA, Oct. 10 (YPA) – The Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out two military operations targeting a US Oil Tanker in the Red Sea and another vessel in the Indian Ocean, Spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces Brigadier General Yahya Sarie said in a statement this evening .

According to Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, the first operation targeted the American oil tanker (OLYMPIC SPIRIT). The ship was targeted in the Red Sea with 11 ballistic missiles and two drones, and it was directly and severely hit.

” The operation was carried out jointly by the missile, UAV, and the naval forces”.

“The second operation was carried out by the missile force with a winged missile that targeted the ship (ST.JOHN) in the Indian Ocean and the hit was direct,” he added.

Sarie confirmed that the ship was targeted because the company owning it violated the decision prohibiting entry to ports in occupied Palestine.

The Yemeni Armed Forces vowed to continue to impose a naval blockade on ‘Israel’ until the aggression stops, the blockade on Gaza is lifted, and the aggression on Lebanon ceases.

According to the statement, the operations are part of ongoing support for the oppressed people of Palestine and Lebanon as well as a in retaliation to the American-British aggression against our country.
