First military brigade to officially declare its rebellion against STC

LAHJ, Oct. 09 (YPA) – The Fourth Hazm Brigade, which is deployed in Tur Al-Baha, west of Lahj province, announced its rebellion against the Transitional Council affiliated with the Emirates and the suspension of financial and administrative dealings with the Council.

A document issued from a meeting of the brigade leadership headed by Wafi Al- Subaihi “Al- Ghabs” , on Tuesday, demanded their rights to receive promotions, in addition to the fact that the recruits did not receive the amount of 1,000 Emirati Dirhams like the rest of the Transitional Council factions.

Al-Ghabs confirmed that his members suffer from marginalization and inferior treatment, amid the attempts of the Financial Committee to pay 500 Emirati Dirhams to each member, although the specified amount is 1,000 dirhams.

The brigade announced the suspension of its dealings with the Transitional Council leadership until the brigade’s allocations are restored by the finance committee and supporting parties, “the Emirates.”

The “Fourth Brigade” is the second brigade of the sons of Al-Subaiha to announce its rebellion against the Transitional Council after the announcement of the commander of the Fifth Brigade, Farouk Al-Kaalouli, the rebellion last May.
