Iran’s parliament threatens with harsh response to any threat

TEHRAN, Oct. 07 (YPA) – The spokesman for the National Security Committee of the Iranian Parliament, Ebrahim Rezaei, stressed on Sunday that “any threat against Iran will be met with a harsh and rapid response, and we will not be lenient.”

Rezaei said Sunday in a statement to reporters during a meeting of the National Security Committee of the Parliament, “All Iranian agencies have the combat and defensive readiness to confront any threat.”

He added, “Fortunately, the various agencies have the necessary combat and defensive readiness to confront any threat, and today we are witnessing the highest level of this readiness.”

This parliamentary official also spoke about the options of the Islamic Republic of Iran in confronting the threats and said, “In this meeting, it was emphasized that these options are diverse and that Iran’s responses will certainly make the enemy regret its actions.”
