Heavy Israeli airstrikes target Beirut’s southern suburbs

BEIRUT, Oct. 06 (YPA) – The Israeli enemy’s aircraft renewed their airstrikes on the southern suburb of Beirut amid the ongoing aggression against Lebanon, which has affected areas in the south, Bekaa, and Beirut.

According to Al-Manar, the Israeli enemy’s army launched intense airstrikes on the southern district of Beirut, specifically in the areas of Bourj al-Barajneh and Mrayjeh.

Meantime, Israeli warplanes and artillery struck various towns in the south of the country, including Yaron, Kafr Hamam, Bint Jbeil, Zahrani, Qana, Teir Debba, Siddiqin, and Al-Shahabiyyah, and Barashit, and Kfar Donin.

Attacks also targeted the villages of Al-Taybeh, Kfar Kila, Al-Wazzani, Khiam, Deir Mimas, Al-Jumaijmeh, Majdal Selm, and Ayta Al-Shaab, Aytaroun, Ramyeh, Al-Tayri, Beit Lif, and Maroun Al-Ras, Arnoun, Shebaa, and Tayr Harfa.

On Saturday evening, the Israeli enemy launched a strike targeting the coastal town of Al-Jiyeh in the Chouf region, killing two an wounding 18 others, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

Rescue teams are still working in search for more victims under the debris.
