Young man takes his own life in Aden amid dire living conditions

ADEN, Oct. 05 (YPA) – A young man committed suicide on Friday due to difficult living conditions in the city of Aden, which is under the control of Saudi-led coalition in southern Yemen.

According to human rights sources in the city, Abdo Fouad Taher, who lives in the Shaab Al-Aidarous neighborhood in the Crater area, committed suicide by hanging himself.

The motives for the suicide incident are still unknown.

The sources suggested that the poor living conditions prompted the young man to end his life in a tragic way.

The  incident caused panic and terror among the family and the people of the neighborhood.

The tragic incident highlights the extent of suffering among residents in Aden, exacerbated by growing poverty and unemployment resulting from economic collapse and rising prices, which have created severe conditions for the people in the city and other southern governorates.
