America must restrain Israeli occupation from committing crimes in region: President Pezeshkian

DOHA, Oct. 03 (YPA) – Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed on Wednesday that America and Western countries must restrain their agent in the region from killing and committing crimes.

This came in a news conference that he held with the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in Doha.

He stressed the importance of peace and stability because no country or region achieves development through war.

Pezeshkian reiterated that Iran does not want war, but rather that “Israel” is the one forcing them to react.

“Israel’s committing crimes that no criminal in history has committed, and we were forced to respond to it,” he said. “If it wanted to act in another way, we would respond in a stronger way, and this is what the Islamic Republic of Iran is committed to.”

He continued, saying: The Zionists’ despicable goals are to destabilize security and expand crises in the region, stressing the importance of intensifying efforts to prevent the outbreak of crises.

The Iranian President said: “What we want from the European countries and America is to tell the party they have planted in the region to stop committing massacres and not to endanger the security of the region.”
