Video: Yemen army forces put new weapon in service to strike multiple targets

SANAA, Sept. 01 (YPA) – A senior Yemeni military source revealed on Tuesday the missions and features of the long-range Sammad 4 aircraft that entered service and targeted the Israeli occupation’s military targets in occupied city of Eilat, known as Umm al-Rashrash.

The military source said in a news statement that the Sammad 4 drone is a multi-mission suicide drone, which carries a mass of explosives designated for strategic targets.

He pointed out that the range of the aircraft reaches more than 2,000 km, and it has a high ability to hit multiple targets and to hide from air defenses, including the multiple defenses of the Israeli enemy.

“The Yemeni drone program is continuing to develop rapidly and has reached very advanced stages in terms of quantity,” the sources added, stressing that Yemen will continue in support of the peoples of Palestine and Lebanon.”

Earlier in the day, Sanaa-based armed forces of Yemen announced, through military spokesman Brigadier General Yahiya Sarie, that the Israeli occupation’s military targets in Umm al-Rashrash, in occupied Palestine, were targeted with Sammad 4 drones, which achieved their goals successfully, in triumph for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and in support of their resistances.
