SANAA, Oct. 01 (YPA) – Yemen’s armed forces carried out military operations on Tuesday in the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea against the Israeli occupation-linked ships.
Military spokesman Brigadier General Yahiya Sarie said in a televised statement that the British oil tanker ‘CORDELIA MOON’ was targeted in the Red Sea, with eight ballistic and winged missiles, a drone and an unmanned boat, which led to severely damage.
The spokesman affirmed that the another ship’ MARATHOPOLIS’ was attacked with a winged missile in the Indian Ocean, after it had violated the decision to ban entry to the ports of occupied Palestine.
“The MARATHOPOLIS ship was directly targeted once again with a drone, after being sailed inside the zone of the armed forces’ operations in the Arabian Sea to the northeast of the Yemeni Socotra Archipelago,” he explained.
Brig. Gen. Sarie re-affirmed that the armed forces will continue to carry out their military operations and enforce a naval blockade on the Israeli enemy, adding that these operations will not stop until the aggression on Gaza and Lebanon is stopped and the blockade on Gaza is lifted.
