WORLD, Sept. 28 (YPA) – Thousands of activists, members of human rights and humanitarian organizations, and members of Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic communities demonstrated outside the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in New York City before his speech at the United Nations General Assembly on Friday.
The protest aimed to condemn the ongoing crimes of the occupation against the Palestinian people and the recent events in Lebanon.
From the moment Netanyahu arrived in Manhattan for the General Assembly meetings, mass marches erupted in several streets to raise their voices against the crimes committed by Netanyahu and his army against the Palestinian people over the past year, as well as the recent aggression against Lebanon.
The activists plan to continue their protests outside Netanyahu’s residence throughout his stay in New York, aiming to pressure the delegations participating in the General Assembly meetings to end the war as soon as possible.
