WEST BANK, Sep. 22 (YPA) – Armed clashes broke out on Sunday evening between the resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces when the latter stormed the city of Tubas in the northern West Bank.

According to Palestinian media, the occupation forces sent military reinforcements to the city of Tubas through the Atof Gate after discovering special troops from the occupation army inside Tubas.

The media sources added that the resistance fighters targeted the occupation vehicles with a barrage of bullets during their storming of the city of Tubas, and an intense exchange of gunfire was heard between the resistance fighters and the occupation soldiers.

The occupation forces were deployed in a number of the city’s streets, with reconnaissance aircraft flying in the air at a low altitude. They withdrew after arresting citizen Ghassan Majid Daraghmeh and his wife after raiding their home in the city of Tubas.
