Girls killed, others injured in US-UK attack on school in Taiz

TAIZ, Sept. 10 (YPA) – Two female students were martyred and seven others were injured in an airstrike that the US-British aggression coalition’s fighter jets waged on Tuesday on Taiz province of Yemen.

A security official said that the UK-US strikes targeted Aisha Girls’ School in Al-Jund area of Al-Taiziyah district of the province.

The official said that the strikes led to fainting 13 girls as a result of the students’ stampede when they were trying to leave the school.

The students were taken to the military hospital and Al-Quds Hospital in Al-Jund, he added.
