Death toll from Israeli aggression on Gaza is approaching 41,000

GAZA, Sept. 08 (YPA) – The death toll in the Gaza Strip is approaching 41,000, following horrific massacres committed by the Israeli occupation throughout the Gaza Strip during the past few hours.

The Ministry of Health announced in a statement on Sunday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip had risen to 40,972 martyrs since the start of the Israeli occupation aggression on October 7, the majority of whom were children and women.

The health ministry added that the number of wounded people has risen to 94,761 since the start of the Israeli aggression, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble.

The statement pointed out that the occupation forces committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the death of 33 citizens and the injury of 145 others during the past 24 hours.

It noted that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
