The Aviationist: Aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower subjected to new missile attacks by Yemeni forces

WORLD, Sept. 02 (YPA) – The USS Dwight D. Eisenhower has been subjected to new missile attacks by the Yemeni army, the Aviationist reported.

According to the website, the Eisenhower was hit by a barrage of drone attacks, assault boats, and cruise missiles.

It noted that “the crew of the Eisenhower suffered severe exhaustion due to the unexpected and repeated Yemeni attacks.”

The report explained that “missiles were depleted from the destroyers of the carrier strike group due to the intensity of the attacks, forcing them to resupply from nearby stations.”

It also mentioned that the German frigate “Hessen” faced a similar fate, exhausting its arsenal while attempting to intercept Yemeni operations.
