Eight defendants tried in Saada for communicating with Saudi-led coalition countries

SAADA, Aug. 31 (YPA) – The Criminal Division of the Court of Appeal in Saada province began on Saturday the trial of eight defendants who were convicted of the crime of communicating with the countries of the Saudi-led coalition that is waging an aggressive war on Yemen.

In the session held under the chairmanship of the Head of the Court of Appeal, Judge Abdullah Mutahar Al-Dailami, the summary of the case was read out, including the charge sheet, the preliminary ruling, the appeals submitted by the appellants, and the response thereto by the prosecution.

The court heard the appellants’ statements, the defenses they presented, and the prosecution’s response to them, and decided to confront them with the rest of the evidence until the next session.
