SANAA, July 17 (YPA) – The Parliament in its meeting on Tuesday, hailed the legislative achievements have been achieved in the field of public health and population in Yemen.
On the World Population Day, the parliament referred to what has been achieved by Yemen in the area of legislation on population, development, and reproductive health and maternal and child health, as well as the successes in the prevention of epidemics and diseases.
The parliament called on the organizations concerned with health and population to pressure Saudi-led coalition countries to stop the war, and lift the siege imposed on all outlets in order to eliminate the epidemics and diseases resulting from lack of medicines.
In its meeting, the parliament continued to review the report of the Public Health and Population Committee on a bill establishing the Yemeni council for medical and health specialties.
