Thousands of Moroccans march to condemn Israeli occupation’s crimes in Gaza

RABAT, Aug. 03 (YPA) – Thousands of Moroccans participated on Saturday in a protest rally in the capital Rabat on Saturday, to denounce the assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh.

In the rally, the participants also condemned the international community’s silence regarding the crimes the Israeli occupation’s committing against the Palestinian people, calling for “dropping normalization with Israel.”

The protesters raised pictures of Haniyeh, Hamas leaders, Al-Aqsa Mosque, martyrs of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, and the Palestinian and Moroccan flags.

The rally witnessed children wearing the Palestine’s keffiyeh and clothes bearing the Palestinian flag, as well as banners and symbols of the Palestinian resistance.

The march was started from the Bab Al-Ahad area in central Rabat, towards the parliament building, where the protesters chanted slogans hailing Gaza, the resistance, and the steadfastness of the Palestinian people.
