BERLIN, July 29 (YPA) – A massive demonstration took place on Sunday in the streets of the German capital Berlin in support of the Palestinian cause and in protest against the Zionist crimes in Gaza.
Local sources in Germany reported that about 1,500 people gathered to protest the attacks of the occupation regime.
The demonstrators criticized Germany’s government for its support for the occupation, carrying banners reading “Germany funds, Israel bombs”, “stopping the genocide” and “No to the occupation of Gaza.”
The protesters chanted slogans such as “Netanyahu is a child killer, a terrorist”, “Israel is a terrorist state”, and “Freedom for Palestine” and “Boycott Israel”, while a group raised the occupation flags at the end of the march tried to incite the demonstration.
The police prevented tension from escalating by placing police cars between the participants in the Palestinian demonstration and the provocateurs.
