Meteorology issues statements on Yemen weather developments

SANAA, July 28 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology expected on Sunday scattered rains falling on parts of the Yemeni provinces.

In its weather bulletin, the center affimd that the rains may prevail over Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Amran, Sanaa, Rayma, Dhamar, Ibb, Dhalea, Taiz, northern Lahj and Abyanin addition to Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Hodeida and the Tihama Plain.

It called on motorists to drive carefully on the mountainous roads as a result of poor horizontal visibility due to rain and fog.

The center warned citizens against being in valleys, flood paths, and thunderstorms in the highlands.
