GAZA, July 27 (YPA) -At least five Palestinian civilians were killed and many others injured early this morning due to an Israeli airstrike targeted the northern area of Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources reported that Israeli fighter jets struck a residential home belonging to the Al-Masri family in the Misbah area, north of Rafah.
The attack led to the immediate murder of five individuals and left dozens injured.
The Israeli occupation has been waging a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting so far in the killing of 39,175 individuals, the majority of whom are women and children. Additionally, 90,403 people have been injured, according to preliminary figures.
Thousands remain trapped under debris and in the streets, with rescue and medical teams unable to reach many of the victims.
