50 Al-Shabaab members killed in military operation in Somalia

MOGADISHU, July 16 (YPA) – Somalia announced the killing of 50 Al-Shabaab members in a military operation in the center of the country.

The official Somali News Agency said, “More than 50 Al-Shabaab members were killed as a result of joint military operations carried out by the army and civil forces of Galmudug local state (central).”

The agency explained that a prominent Al-Shabaab leader named Hussein Ali was killed in the military operation.
