Gaza death toll rises to 73,388 as Israeli attacks continue

GAZA, Aug. 12 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health said on Wednesday that Gaza hospitals received the body of one victim recovered from the rubble, along with two people wounded in the ongoing Israeli attacks, over the past 24 hours.

In its daily report, the ministry said that many victims remained trapped under the rubble or stranded on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews continued to be unable to reach them.

According to the ministry, 1,259 Palestinians have been killed and 4,148 injured since the October 11, 2025 ceasefire, with 808 bodies recovered from the rubble during this period.

Since October 7, 2023, the overall Palestinian death toll in Gaza has risen to 73,388, with 174,259 people injured, the ministry said.
