Oman FM: Israeli bombing of Gaza is terrorism against defenseless civilians

MUSCAT, July 14 (YPA) – Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned on Sunday the aerial bombardment that Israeli occupation forces carried out in Mawasi area of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the killing and wounding of hundreds of women, children and the elderly.

The ministry considered in a statement that the occupation’s bombing to the residential areas is an explicit terrorist act and new evidence of the policy of deliberate genocidal war practiced by the brutal Israeli occupation authorities towards the Palestinian people, in clear violation of international laws and conventions calling for the protection of civilians, and in disregard by the government of the occupying state of all international resolutions and demands calling for an immediate ceasefire.

The statement called on the international community to put an end to these Israeli violations and terrorist crimes that the occupation has been committing for months without deterrence or accountability.
