Gold records significant increase in Yemen

SANAA, July 04 (YPA) – Gold prices rose in Yemen on Thursday, affected by the turmoil in gold prices on the global stock market, in light of a large discrepancy in prices between Sanaa and Aden.

Economic sources revealed that the selling price of the gold pound in Aden and the southern and eastern provinces amounted to 990,000 riyals, and the 21-Karat gram was 128,000 riyals, an increase from the prices of yesterday, Wednesday, which amounted to more than 25,000 in the pound, and 4,000 riyals in the gram.

The sources explained that the price of the gold pound in Sanaa was 289,000, and the 21-Karat gram was 36,250 riyals, an increase from the prices of yesterday, Wednesday, which amounted to 12,000 riyals in the pound and 250 per gram.
