Hamas refutes Israeli occupation’s allegations regarding UNRWA

GAZA, June24 (YPA) – Hamas Movement confirmed on Monday that the fascist occupation’s targeting of the UNRWA headquarters in Gaza city is a complex crime carried out against the Palestinian people, and the United Nations and its institutions.

“The occupation’s claim that the center’s use for military purposes, is a blatant lie that hides the true intentions of this fascist government towards UNRWA,” the Palestinian Information Center quoted a news statement from Hamas.

The statement stressed that the criminal enemy’s continued targeting of civilian sites in the Gaza Strip, including the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Rafah, which led to the deaths of more than twenty displaced civilians, is confirmation of the continuation of the genocidal war and killing of the features of life in Gaza, in complete disregard of international demands to stop the administration of President Biden-backed aggression.

The movement’s statement called on the international community and the United Nations to condemn these serious crimes and work to hold the rogue Zionist entity and its war criminal leaders accountable for these policies that defy international laws against defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip.
