Yemen military wages fresh rocket attacks on ships in Arabian, Red Sea

SANAA, June 13 (YPA) – Yemen’s armed forces declared on Thursday it had carried out three military operations in the Arabian and Red Sea.

The military spokesman Brigadier general Yahiya Sarie said in a televised statement that the Verbena ship was directly targeted in the Arabian Sea, causing a fire to break out on it.
He affirmed that the Yemeni armed forces attacked the ship ‘Seaguardian’ and another ship ‘Athina’ in the Red Sea, and they were targeted directly, thanks to Allah.

The operations were successfully carried out with a number of naval ballistic missiles and drones, he added.

“The Yemeni Armed Forces are continuing in implementing the directives of the leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi in expanding operations and developing military capabilities to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in defense of Yemen,” the spokesman reaffirmed.

He explained that the military operations of the Yemeni armed forces will not stop unless the aggression on the Gaza Strip is stopped and the siege on the Palestinian people is lifted.
